Material selection
Every Aakaar product begins with its foam core. We work with memory foam for contouring, high-density PU foam for structure, EPE and bonded foam for resilience, and gel-infused foam for a cooler surface. Each material is chosen for a specific job — memory foam molds to your natural contours, while denser layers hold the product's shape over months of daily use. Because our products are customisable, the same design can be built with different foam combinations, so the feel of the product matches the person using it.
Layered construction
Rather than a single block of foam, our pillows are built from layers. The Customizable Cervical Pillow, for example, combines 70% memory foam, 10% bonded foam and 20% high-density PU foam, with a removable cooling pad layer on top. Layering lets each material do what it does best: the upper layers adapt to your head and neck, while the base layers keep the contour profile intact. It also means a layer can be removed or changed — the cooling pad simply lifts out if you prefer to sleep without it.
Everyday usability
A product you use every day has to feel good against the skin and be simple to live with. Our covers use breathable, dual-layer knitted mesh with a soft textured surface, chosen so air can move through the fabric during long wear. Fastenings are deliberately simple: adjustable cords with toggle locks on the neck pillow, and secure buckle straps that tighten in one motion. Covers on our pillows zip off for cleaning, and every product ships with straightforward care instructions.
Product structure
The Customizable Spinal Belt shows how structure and comfort work together. Padded back panels provide the support, while a breathable 3D spacer mesh and a skin-friendly, moisture-wicking inner fabric keep the belt comfortable over hours of wear. Side stabilising wings and adjustable straps let you dial in the hold, and the entire belt is metal-free and lightweight — roughly 450 to 600 grams — so it sits discreetly under clothing. The same thinking runs through every product: a structure you can tune to your own fit.
